At some point in our lives most of us will struggle with negative feelings and emotional issues. If unresolved, emotional ill-health can have a serious impact on our everyday lives. Emotional distress can lead to sleeplessness, stress, anxiety, panic, depression, reationship breakdown, parenting/family stress, social isolation, substance misuse, feelings of anger, irritation, confusion, and hopelessness amongst other issues which, if left untreated can have a negative impact on our everyday lives and lead to even greater distress in the future.
Katheen offers support to people to enable them to look at their past, including their childhood experienes, relationships and all events and traumas that have led them to where they are in their lives today. Through talking, people can come to terms with past events and experiences and learn to recognise how these have impacted on their emotional health, their behaviour patterns and their relationsips throughout their lives. This awareness will give people the opportunity to break these negative cycles.
