The word Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning 'union with the source' i.e. the union of the body, spirit and mind. Yoga aims to improve illness by improving health on all levels simultaneously and by restoring inner harmony. It uses different kinds of physical and mental exercises to work on all these levels.
Asana relax and tone the muscles and massage the internal organs. Pranayame slows breathing and regulates the flow of prana (life energy). Relaxation and meditation calm the mind and emotions, and heal the spirit. The daily practice of a complete yoga session is believed to restore natural balance and harmony, helping to clear out toxins and heal damage tissue much more quickly.

Pilates is a form of exercise, developed by Joseph Pilates, which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement.
One of the best things about Pilates is that it is suitable for a wide range of people. All exercises are developed with modifications that can make a workout safe and challenging for a person at any level. Pilates is beneficial for general fitness, specific health conditions and most of all for your overall wellbeing.
“Pilates develops the body uniformly, corrects wrong postures, restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind and elevates the spirit.”
Joseph Pilates
